Our Company​

With approximately 700 employees the company has always been based in the south of Germany. All of our products are manufactured here and are therefore truly “Made in Germany”.  In 2021, the first international sales subsidiary Esband Inc. was founded in the US.

Esband & Schlatterer​

The idea for endless belts had company founder Max Schlatterer over 75 years ago. The company still bears his name today: Max Schlatterer GmbH & Co. KG. Our brand “Esband” is also closely associated with his name – Esband stands for “Endless Schlatterer Band” – “Band” means “belt” in German. Our current logo combines the company name and the brand: “Esband Schlatterer”.

Max Schlatterer GmbH & Co. KG was awarded the bronze medal by EcoVadis in 2025. This rating puts us in the top 35% of companies evaluated by EcoVadis.
