Since the first seed of “Seilerei Pflug” was planted in 1755, we have remained at the forefront of power transmission and material handling technology. For centuries, we have focused on the research, development, and manufacturing of round belts and their related components, dedicated to providing stable and reliable solutions for the machinery and equipment industry.

In the beginning, we used raw materials such as flax, hemp, bast, and other natural fibers from trees and plants, primarily for producing ropes used in agriculture, construction, and forestry. Today, we have shifted to advanced high-tech fibers capable of withstanding extreme temperatures up to 480°C, with tear resistance that surpasses even steel—delivering extraordinary performance and durability.

With the wave of industrialization sweeping across the country in the early 20th century, the market demanded greater functionality and reliability from belts. We quickly responded to market trends by developing products for automation and power transmission. What was once a handcrafted round belt process became mechanized in the 1950s, significantly improving quality and efficiency.

Thanks to breakthroughs in synthetic fiber technology and advancements in manufacturing processes, the applications of our products have continued to expand. Whether in power transmission, material handling, or logistics, round belts remain a cost-effective and design-flexible key component in mechanical engineering.

Entering the 1990s, we became one of the first to introduce computer-controlled testing benches and production equipment, ensuring that every batch of products met consistently high quality standards—leading the industry and standing unmatched.

In recent years, continuous upgrades in profile technology and extrusion processes have greatly expanded both our product portfolio and production flexibility.
